1. Warm-up before you start— a quick walk can help prepare your muscles.
2. Shovel frequently to avoid letting snow pile up and reduce the load.
3. Choose the right shovel—a lightweight push-shovel is ideal for less strain.
4. Push, don’t throw—avoid heavy lifting and twisting by pushing the snow to the side.
