I think we often forget that we need to clean more than just the lenses. Perspiration, sunscreen, hairspray, makeup, dust, dirt, grease, and other random particles can accumulate on your glasses and cause them to look unkempt or even shorten their lifespan.
Cleaning Tips:
Use room temperature water
Never use hot water
Dish soap cuts the grease well
Don’t use hand soap ( moisturizers will leave a film on your lenses)
Don’t use household cleaners
Don’t use tissue paper or paper towel
Use a microfibre cleaning cloth
A soft, flat weave cotton is good too
Don’t use fabric softener on your lens cleaning cloth
Thoroughly clean your glasses regularly to prevent buildup.

Just a couple of new frames were excited about. Izumi 9341 & Evatik 9242. Do you have to wait the full 24 months to get new glasses, or does your plan renew in January?  Most benefit plans have an app you can download to check your eligibility. If it’s time to get new glasses, pop in (or book an appointment if you need an eye exam too) and we’ll gladly help you find a fresh new pair you’ll love 😍… I’m ordering the Izumi 9341 with progressive lenses.
