We had the privilege of giving a compelling presentation to 60 members of the BC Hydro Power Pioneers about the expanded scope of pharmacists, which includes pharmacists being able to prescribe for 23 medical conditions. 💊💉

Our team was honoured to share how pharmacists can now play an even more pivotal role in the healthcare journey. We expressed our commitment to ensuring our community has access to timely healthcare without interruption. 🏥

Thank you to the BC Hydro Power Pioneers Seniors for the warm welcome and engaging discussions. It was the most positive reception we have received from these presentations so far. We're excited to continue working together to promote health and well-being within our community. 🤝

We had the opportunity to work with BC Pharmacy Association to host Andrew Mercier as part of this year’s Flu Vaccine campaign at Willowbrook Pharmacy.

We discussed the many success stories we’ve been a part of since the expansion of BC pharmacists’ scope and the need for more measures to alleviate bottlenecks in our healthcare system.

Willowbrook Pharmacy has been hard at work to secure this year's flu vaccine as your well-being is our top priority. We want to ensure you and your loved ones stay healthy and protected this fall and are happy to announce that the 2023 flu vaccine campaign will begin Tuesday, October 10 2023. Book your free flu vaccine appointment using the link below from now and let us help you stay well.

This year’s vaccine offers protection against four strains of the influenza virus, and is available to anyone six months of age or older. You may also receive the new COVID booster (separate from the flu vaccine) at the same time if you wish.
