You don’t always need a fancy pre-workout drink to up your energy levels—sometimes the simplest tools can do the trick! Which of these energy enhancers are you trying today?

💚Laughter is known to release stress, enhance your intake of oxygen-rich air, and stimulate your heart, lungs, and muscles.

💚Vitamin D levels are important for mental health; health problems that can arise from deficiency include depression, seasonal affective disorder, and more.

💚Movement works wonders for your energy levels; even regular walking can do the trick.

💚Quality sleep can have a huge impact—how do you feel when you’ve had a poor sleep versus a good night’s sleep?

💚Time in nature—going for a forest walk, breathing fresh air by the ocean, or simply sitting in a park—can increase energy.

💚Acts of kindness—offering to make a cup of tea for a co-worker, baking a healthy treat for a friend, or walking a neighbor’s dog—can brighten your day *and* someone else’s.

💚Positive thinking throughout the day will help you reduce stressful thoughts.

💚Breathing deeply is an often-overlooked way to calm the mind and boost energy levels.
