One of the most magical nights of the year is upon us.

Beltane is the ancient fire festival of fertility, abundance, passion, sensuality, protection, and sacred union. For me it is so so so much more!! It marks the return of the SUN!!!!

Historically celebrated across Ireland, Scotland, and other Celtic lands, Beltane marked the beginning of the bright half of the year. Great bonfires were lit on hilltops, cattle were driven between twin flames for blessing and protection, homes were cleansed, flowers were gathered, and the land itself was honoured as fully alive again.

This is the season of blossoming.

The Earth is fertile. The veil feels thin in a different way than Samhain, not with death, but with life force.

Beltane is about desire.
Creation.
Pleasure.
Abundance.
What wants to bloom through you.

In Slavic and some European traditions, this season also overlaps with spring rites honoring fertility, greenery, fire, and the life-giving force of nature, including celebrations connected to young maidens, flower wreaths, bonfires, and seasonal courtship rituals.

This is not just a holiday.

It is an invitation.

🖤🔥 WALPURGISNACHT 🔥🖤

Tonight is Walpurgisnacht, also known as Walpurgis Night, celebrated on April 30 into May 1 across parts of Germany, Scandinavia, Central Europe, and beyond. My family celebrated in secret but I am here for it!!

Often called the “other Halloween,” Walpurgisnacht is a liminal night of bonfires, protection magic, spirit activity, purification, and the transition from winter into the fertile season of spring.

Traditionally, fires were lit to drive away harmful spirits, ward off misfortune, and protect crops, livestock, and homes as the Wheel turned toward summer.

In folklore, this was the night witches were said to gather on mountaintops most famously the Brocken in Germany’s Harz Mountains.

This is A threshold night. A night of wildness. Fire. Protection. Crossing seasons. Clearing what lingers from winter.
Welcoming what is ready to rise.

Bonfires were leapt over for luck and purification.
Homes were protected with greenery and charms.
Noise was made to banish unwanted energies.

Tonight is powerful for:
