Due to very dry fire conditions, we have implement a full fire ban within the District of Lantzville.

If you see smoke call 911 and report it immediately.

Thank you to everyone for abiding to this ban and keeping our community safe.

Attention Lantzville Community- We have a working fire in the area of Highway 19 and Superior Road, and Lantzville Road area.

Crews are working the fire PLEASE avoid area as not to impede on fire operations.

If you live in the District of Lantzville and would like to apply to become an on-call firefighter, please fill out the application package, and return it to the Lantzville Fire Department no later than June 27, 2025

Come visit us and get some information on how to help FireSmart your home and property. We will have demos of our wildfire capabilities for people to view and information on how to best protect your home and property from wildfire.

We will be at the following locations:

9am - 11am

11:30am- 1:30pm

Costin Hall parking lot
2pm - 4pm

5th Annual Lantzville Fire Department Santa Parade December 7th, 2024

4:30 pm start from the Lantzville Firehall ending at Huddlestone Park. Details and route in the comments.

7:30 pm Join us at Huddlestone Park for the tree lighting, hot chocolate, hot dogs, propane fire pits and pictures with Santa and Mrs Claus.

On behalf of the Lantzville Fire Department and The Lantzville Rotary we want to thank you all for your support and we look forward to all the waves and smiles on all the faces as we drive by.

15th Annual Lantzville Fire Rescue and Lantzville Rotary Food Drive

This Sunday December 1st from 9am to 12pm.

Please place your food at the end of your driveway before 9am and our volunteer crew will come by and pick it up. Food Donations can also be dropped at the District Office during regular business hours.

This weekend members of Lantzville Fire Rescue along with members of the Nanoose Fire Department took part in an auto extrication training weekend. This training gives lots of opportunities for members of both departments to get hands on training for rescuing, trapped victims of motor vehicle incidents.

Big thank you to everyone that gave up their weekend to attend this training.
