New building, new sign! We aren’t moving, Pharmacy staying where it’s always been, but we will be connected to the new portion which will be occupied by family physicians very soon!!

It’s been a minute!
Let’s meet some of our newer members of the team…

First up, April…

April is a Pharmacists, she graduated from the Wayne State Doctorate of Pharmacy program (fun fact: with George) in 2009. She has worked as a Pharmacist in Sarnia and then in her hometown of LaSalle for over 10 years.

At home, she is a wife and a mom of three. Her oldest daughter has Down syndrome and from her daughters diagnosis, she has gained a new perspective on inclusion and empathy for those with all needs. Life is busy with three little ones, so yoga, running and her garden help keep her grounded.

Essential has been the perfect place for her to find a work/life balance and really be able to spend time with her patients, caring for them like her extended family.

Next up in the hot seat…Sophia!

Sophia is known for her positive energy and upbeat personality. Meet her once, and you will feel like you have known her forever. Sophia has been working as a Pharmacy assistant for 15 years in the Windsor and LaSalle area. She helps people manage their medication by doing the important job of compliance packaging. Outside of the pharmacy she is a wife and mom of two sweet girls. She can belt out a tune like a boss, she has even been spotted picking up the mic and signing her signature song locally. But the thing that makes us love Sophia the most is that she is a true nurturer, she wholeheartedly loves all of natures creations. We are happy she has found Essential as her home away from home. 💕

Next let’s meet Eric….

Eric graduated at Wayne state university in 2017 with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. He joined George at Essential Pharmacy fresh out of school.

He has a passion for helping his patients, he loves being stumped and gaining new knowledge.

When he isn’t in the pharmacy, time with friends and family are of the utmost importance. He is a proud ‘cool’ uncle to 8 little nieces and nephews. He enjoys working out, staying active and healthy.

Although he is the youngest on our team, he has the biggest heart, biceps and water bottle.

Meet Lindsay, the glue that holds it all together. Lindsay graduated from the St. Claire college pharmacy technician program in 1997, she later opted to upgrade her degree to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Her role is multifaceted in AND behind the scenes. She will always greet you with a smile and gentle hello, she most likely knows your name and she is one of the fastest, most precise prescription processors there is. Lindsay oozes empathy and being compassionate is second nature. She is an avid cyclists and loves to ride for a good charity. We are proud that she is ours.
