The face behind the name!
Hi! My name is Joanna. I am a nurse with seven years of experience and currently working at the MUHC. My journey in nursing began at Vanier College, where I laid the foundation for my passion for patient care. Over the years, I've refined my skills and knowledge, spending two and a half years on an orthopedics and trauma surgery unit before transitioning to the fast-paced environment of the emergency department at a level 1 trauma center in downtown Montreal. Throughout this journey, I pursued higher education and proudly earned my Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Athabasca University.
Having spent years at the front lines of patient care in both orthopedics and trauma surgery and the bustling emergency department, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges many individuals face in accessing essential medical services. With my mobile nursing service, I aim to bridge gaps in healthcare delivery, bringing professional and empathetic care directly to those in need, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to receive quality healthcare, wherever they may be.
