Meet Alyssa! Our new passionate yoga teacher who loves guiding her students through a practice that leaves their body feeling worked (and rested), mind at ease and their heart at peace. Through her years of study and teaching since 2013, she carefully sequences her classes to target strength, balance and flexibility, all while allowing her students to feel fully relaxed by the end. Her styles range from flowy vinyasas to deep and restorative yins to target each individuals’ needs. Her classes are perfect for beginners and experienced yogis - all are welcome!

Did you know that perimenopause, the transitional phase before menopause, can start as early as your late 30s to mid-40s?

During this time, your body begins to undergo significant changes—physically, emotionally, and mentally. At Studio Pause, we understand the unique challenges this stage can present, from fluctuating hormones and sleep disturbances to mood swings and energy dips.

That’s why we’ve curated a holistic approach to support you during this time. Here’s how our specialized classes can help:

1. Yoga:
Our Yoga classes, including Hatha and Yin Yoga, focus on slow, mindful movements, deep breathing, and stretches that reduce stress, improve sleep, and ease joint pain. Breathwork and poses that open the hips and chest can also help alleviate tension and balance emotions.

2. Strength Training:
Strength training is essential during perimenopause to combat muscle loss and support bone density. Our Pilates and Barre classes incorporate bodyweight exercises and light resistance training to strengthen muscles, improve posture, and boost metabolism—all while being gentle on your joints.

3. HIIT and Circuit Training:
For those looking to maintain or build stamina, our HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) and Circuit Training classes offer a dynamic way to stay fit.
