A brief 2 year recap: They say a building is made of bricks and mortar, but for us, Clinique KA was built on a foundation of “what ifs” and middle-of-the-night prayers. This is the story the photos don’t always show.

We gave up. After months of searching, we lost hope and booked a trip to Morocco. 48 hours before our flight, we found “the” building. We had two days to make a life-changing decision. We chose to jump, writing the offer at the airport gate. A leap of faith.

The “vacation” that followed was spent negotiating through time zones and meeting our banker on Zoom from the streets of Chefchaouen. We finally got the life-changing “yes” on a rooftop in Fez, but the real work was just beginning.🙏🏻

The first year was a masterclass in survival. We thought we’d just paint; instead, we gutted the entire clinic—and our bank account. During the 9-month renovation, the basement flooded while we were miles away. We only survived because our construction team happened to swing by at the exact right moment. We were lucky. We were exhausted.🔨

By opening day in Feb 2024, we were burned out before we even started. Then, 3 months later, a voicemail changed everything: an offer to be on a TV show. We dove in headfirst, even hiring painters and buying furniture in record time because we had been living with holes in the walls and no furniture since we just moved in to our new house. Survival mode was officially engaged. Our specialty 🤣

Since then, the dust has settled. From hiring our gems, Marie-Eve and Noémie, to navigating the growing pains of a rising team, Team KA is finally walking on its own. Looking back, we are overcome with gratitude for the hardships. They forced us to pivot and proved what we are capable of.

To our patients: You are the reason we stayed up those extra hours. You are the heart of this story. Thank you for trusting us and growing with us.🥹

As we look toward the horizon, the projects are getting bigger and the opportunities bolder. The foundation is solid, the team is growing, and our vision has never been clearer.😎

Two years down. A lifetime of care to go.🤍
