Our goal is to provide residents with the best possible healthcare services.

Leader and District Healthcare Foundation fundraises for new equipment, building repairs, and staff recruiting incentives for the Leader and District Healthcare Facility. The Mission of Leader and District Healthcare Foundation is to raise funds to help sustain safe, attainable, and innovative healthcare for Leader and the surrounding area. As a registered non-profit organization we raise funds to keep Leader and District Integrated Healthcare Facility operating with the staff, equipment, and infrastructure that the citizens of our area deserve.

It is well known that Leader, SK. currently has a shortage of rental spaces. Where this need is felt the most is currently for those employed by the Leader and District Integrated Healthcare Facility. The Leader and District Healthcare Foundation (through Pam Busby) have been working diligently to find space for new staff starting at our healthcare facility. We felt given the success of the current rental house, a second rental house investment should be made to provide housing for talented staff starting in our community.
Our Goal:
1. Provide a place for physicians to live in the community (often as a first home in Canada). As an incentive to choose our community we provide six months free rent. Afterwards rent is paid to the foundation.
2. Between permanent physicians, the houses provide temporary housing for locums.
