Start the new year by investing in brighter, more even-toned skin! For the entire month of January, enjoy 25% off IPL and target hyperpigmentation and discoloration.
Understanding the different types of hyperpigmentation:
PIH (Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation)
PIH appears as flat brown or dark spots left behind after inflammation or injury to the skin. It’s commonly caused by acne, bug bites, or irritation and is more noticeable after sun exposure. These marks can fade over time, but targeted skincare and treatments help speed up the process.
PIE (Post-Inflammatory Erythema)
PIE shows up as pink, red, or purple marks after breakouts, especially in lighter skin tones. Unlike PIH, it’s related to damaged or dilated blood vessels rather than excess pigment. Treatments that calm inflammation and support skin healing are key for improving PIE.
Age Spots (Sun Spots / Liver Spots)
Age spots are caused by long-term sun exposure and typically appear as brown or tan patches on the face, hands, chest, and shoulders. They develop gradually over time and are one of the most common signs of sun damage.
Melasma
Melasma presents as larger, symmetrical patches of brown or gray pigment, often on the cheeks, forehead, upper lip, and jawline. It’s influenced by hormones, sun exposure, and heat, making consistent protection and a customized treatment plan essential for managing it.
Every type of pigmentation is different, which is why personalized skincare and professional guidance matter. Take advantage of our 25% off IPL January promotion and let us help you create a plan for clearer, more even skin!
