We're Hiring: Dietary Aide (Part-Time, Permanent)

As a Dietary Aide, you'll play an important role in supporting residents' health, comfort, and quality of life by assisting with meal preparation, service, and sanitation. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience while ensuring residents receive safe and nutritious meals.

- Optional HOOPP pension enrollment
- Vacation pay and statutory rights
- Must be available for afternoons, weekends, and holidays.

We are excited to share that the membership of the Leamington Mennonite Home has officially voted at the Annual Meeting to move forward with the next phase of our proposed new development project.

This important milestone allows us to begin the next chapter: launching a Capital Campaign to help build a new Assisted Living Retirement Residence and amenity spaces for the entire LMH complex.

For more than 60 years, LMH has been a place of compassionate care, community, faith, and belonging. Together, we now have the opportunity to build a future that better serves current and future generations of seniors in our community.

To date, over $2 Million Dollars has already been raised through generous donations secured in the bank and multi-year pledges committed toward this vision. We are deeply grateful for the incredible support already shown.

Now, we invite the entire community to come together to help us build the next chapter of LMH. Every gift matters. Every dollar brings us one stitch closer to reaching our financial plan goals before shovel hits the ground.

From watching our courtyard duck proudly lead her little ducklings around, to meaningful visits with the students from Cardinal Carter, and smiles shared during a shopping outing to Giant Tiger.

It’s the everyday moments of connection, laughter, and community that make life at LMH so special.

This weekend, we celebrated and honoured all mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures whose love, strength, guidance, and compassion have shaped generations. 💐

At LMH, we are grateful for the women who have nurtured with patience, cared with kindness, and shared wisdom and faith throughout every season of life.

We also hold close in our hearts the mothers who are no longer with us, remembering the lasting impact of their love and the memories they leave behind.
