Meet James. The kind of guy who feels like he has it all together. But lately, it feels like the weight of it all is starting to show. He’s burning out, but he’s too busy to really do anything about it.

After 12 years in frontline mental health and justice services, and the loss of her mother five years ago, Charlie realized how our society doesn’t hold space for the challenges we face.

She created Nurtured Minds to offer that safe space—where people can be, feel, and grow.

🍃 Charlie’s caseload is now closed as of November 15th, but don’t worry—she’ll be reopening in January!

It’s common for those who were under-mothered to feel responsible for everyone and everything, often pushing themselves to the limit.
But here’s a gentle reminder: you can’t be a superhero!

When burnout hits, it’s more than just exhaustion; it’s a sign you need to pause. Recognizing this can be a compassionate step toward mothering yourself in the ways you were not mothered.

It’s perfectly okay to take a break and reconnect with yourself (despite that inner voice telling you not to).
