Have you checked your smoke alarms lately?

Working smoke alarms save lives. Be sure to test them once a month, replace the batteries at least once a year, and make sure every level of your home has one installed.

A quick check today could make all the difference tomorrow. 🔥 Learn more about fire safety: https://pulse.ly/pul3pih7vg

DYI it’s and in any given year, 1 in 5 Canadians experience a mental illness? Whether you have experienced this yourself, have loved ones who have been impacted, or you simply want to join the fight for mental health, we encourage you to do so.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a difficult time, please reach out to someone in your support system, or call FCSS for more information on services available: www.leduc.ca/fcss

Every day, people across Canada are navigating mental illness. Many in silence, and too many without access to the care they need. Cost, long wait times, limited services, and stigma continue to create barriers, especially for Indigenous Peoples, racialized people, and people living in rural and remote communities.

Mental health is health. Everyone should get the support they need, no matter who they are or where they live.

This , we're echoing Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health Mental health is a right, not a privilege.
