💜👟 What an incredible journey! Lifemark is thrilled to have been a National Sponsor of the Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women – Canada's largest community 5K and 10K walk/run series in support of women's mental health.

Another year, another successful Blue Nose Marathon weekend! 🏃‍♀️🎉

From cheer zones to recovery zones, our Lifemark team showed up in full stride!

We had an incredible time connecting with the community at our booth during the Expo, supporting runners at the finish line, and providing post-race treatment at our tent. Big shoutout to the amazing students and staff from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy and Eastern College who helped power our massage tent all weekend long.

Hats off to the inspiring Team Myles Powered by Lifemark crew – your journey moved us every step of the way! 👏 And a huge round of applause to our Lifemark Relay Teams who crossed the finish line together, showing what teamwork really looks like!

Help us welcome back Arianne!!

Some of you will recognize Arianne as our PT student we had over the Spring. She is going into her final year of her Master's and we are so happy to have her back.

Arianne is originally from Montreal, Quebec, and later moved to Airdrie, Alberta. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. As a kinesiologist, she helps clients with exercise programs tailored to their daily lifestyles.

When she is not working, you can find Arianne enjoying the outdoors, either on a hike or by the side of a lake. She enjoys puzzles of all types or forms and loves curling up with a good book during her downtime.

Help us welcome Amneet to the team!🎉

Amneet moved to Alberta in 2024 from British Columbia where she spent 8 years as a registered physiotherapist, obtaining her academic requirements from University of Toronto and University British Columbia. Previous to this, she was a physiotherapy assistant in Surrey, BC.

Amneet holds expertise in various musculoskeletal conditions, chronic pain, and pre and post operative sports injuries. She holds specialized certification in dry needling/IMS to treat various conditions. She has special interest in women's health and holds a pelvic floor certification to help women in the community. Amneet is multilingual, fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi. Her areas of expertise include orthopedics, and her treatment approach consists of manual therapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy.

Outside of her profession, Amneet is a caring mom and wife. Most of her free time is spent with her family and working out in the gym. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, and socializing with friends and family.

Yan has always enjoyed everything that has to do with sports, which was a big part of why he got into massage therapy. He enjoys working with people to help them with their concerns.

Update for all Patients coming in May 27-June 3

Parking will only be available on the North East side of the parking lot due to the Black Gold Pro Rodeo and Fair happening May 30-June 2. Please ensure you have enough time to find a parking spot before your appointment. Parking lot attendants will be on site starting May 30. If you are stopped by an attendant, please let them know you are a patient of the clinic.

A big welcome back to Gary Wedman!

Gary has been practicing Physiotherapy for 30 years. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 1994. He has also completed training in acupuncture and is a Certified Acupuncture Practitioner by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. He has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since 1994.

Gary began practicing physiotherapy at Leduc Physiotherapy Ltd. in 1994 and purchased the clinic from the original owner in 2001. He owned and operated the clinic until selling it in 2009 to focus more on his young family.

He has recently re-joined the Lifemark Physiotherapy team In Leduc, Alberta and looks forward to helping new and previous clients.

Gary tries to keep his knowledge of shockwave therapy up to date by being a member of the International Society for Medical Shockwave Treatment (ISMST). He has attended the 2017 ISMST congress in Spain, 2018 ISMST congress in New Zealand and the 2022 congress in Prague, Czech Republic. He also attended the 2021 ISMST congress virtually during the pandemic which was broadcast from Vienna, Austria. He was internationally certified in Shockwave Therapy at the 2017 congress and re-certified at the 2022 congress.

Gary has been active in the Leduc community since starting his career. He has been a member of the Cycle LA fundraising committee as well as a board member of the Leduc Community Health Foundation. He has also volunteered his services in many community events such as the 2008 Alberta Winter Games, 2016 Alberta Summer Games, Guinness Book of Records longest indoor soccer game attempt (2010), Guinness Book of Records longest soft ball game attempt (2013), and the Multiple Sclerosis 150km Bike Tour.

Personally, Gary enjoys spending time with his children, as well as other extended family and friends. He also enjoys vegetable gardening, movies, dancing and entertaining (cooking/BBQ).
