About the Practice
Flowing with the rhythms of nature, Spring marks the beginning of a new time, time to renew, time to be reborn, time to restart as human beings. It is when we are able to create positive changes in our lives and our community.

The Spring Equinox Community Yoga Practice will gather the city together for (what is annually) the biggest Yoga practice in Lethbridge, with the purpose of connecting with our inner selves and importantly, those around us.

Last year, over 120 folks came together to move, breathe and bask in the peaceful magic of the day.

The whole community is invited regardless of age, gender, religion or experience practicing yoga.

Join this special gathering of local and community for our practice; meditating to connect on this auspicious day as we raise the vibration together.

Proceeds will be donated to Lethbridge Pride Fest Society, who has a proud history of celebrating and to promoting equality for the Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Two-Spirit, Q***r, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual community.

If you are able to join us, we would love to see you. Please feel welcome to register online to guarantee a space.

If you are interested in donating an item for the raffles, please reach out to Shonna at: popupyogalethbridge.com. If you would like to donate financially to this year’s event, you can do so at: popupyogalethbridge@gmail.com.

Three years ago today we completed our maiden voyage of our Flow State 200 Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training. The program was created in a time of incubation and it felt life-giving to quest through the first half 2021 together in yogic study.

1000 days and 50 students later, our graduates are far-reaching in the community. Of those looking to teach yoga to others, their placement rate is 100% for teaching yoga in areas and sectors such as studios, gyms, with Indigenous groups, within rural centres, addiction centres, with seniors, post-secondary education, sports teams and within schools to name a few. We are in awe of the areas of the community where folks have taken their new skills and passions. A handful of trainees took the program for their own development, both personal and yoga + meditation practice and found it transformative.

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve opened registration for our 200 Hour Flow State Vinyasa Yoga Training. This program will take place in Lethbridge over the course of 8 weekends between Jan - July 2025.

Message us here or at: flowstateyoga@gmail.com for a full info package or any questions you have.

Spaces limited.

Student testimonial
“I would recommend this training to anyone who has a love for the ancient art of yoga, a desire to explore their deeper self, and to anyone wanting to be inspired on and off the mat. The care, safety, experience and authenticity that Shonna and Kendall have poured into each moment make this training pure magic.” ~ Heidi D., Lethbridge

Every Tuesday in March I will be offering a yang and yin practice☯️
Yang is associated with heat and light. Yin is associated with the earth and the dark. During the yang portion of practice we will build heat through an invigorating flow. During the yin portion we slow down and settle into the earth. We will explore poses with sweet longer holds that will bring rest and tranquility.
