Sleep debt isn't real. You do not need to make up for sleep loss by sleeping in on the weekends - that can cause other problems that make getting through the week harder.

If Randy normally got 7 hours of sleep per night, he would've needed 91 hours through his World Record and recovery days. Instead, he slept 25 hours and appeared to have recovered from his sleep loss.

Instead of sleeping less during the week and sleeping longer on the weekends, go to bed when you're sleepy (nodding off or yawning excessively) and wake at a consistent time every day.

I have been overweight since high school and have tried everything to lose weight. I’ve been up and down multiple times but nothing has ever stuck. Finally, at 50, I was able to lose more weight than I’ve ever lost before and keep it off fire more than 18 months. I feel great and I love the way I look.
