Dr. Zaheer Majiet will be moving his practice to SIX08 Family Medical starting August 19, 2021. His new office will be located at 608-5th ave south. Please call his office at 403-694-3352 to make an appointment. Please note your files have been transferred.

Dr. Codruta Abhilash will be moving her practice to Family Medical starting October 1, 2021. Her new office will be located at 2931-20th Ave South. Please call her office at 403-328-2326 to make an appointment. Please note your files have/will be transferred.

As of June 15, Dr. Benkoczi, Dr. Dalphond and Dr. Westheuser have officially embarked on a new adventure at Bigelow Fowler South. Over the last decade and a half, all three of these physicians have helped build the caring and compassionate reputation that Legacy Medical is proud to hold to this day. We wish them all the best at their new location and will miss them dearly.

We have become aware that some patients have not received the notification letter from Bigelow Fowler South quite yet. If you are one of these individuals, please contact either Bigelow Fowler South or Legacy Medical so we can ensure that your chart is correctly tagged with the right physician. This will help both of our clinics ensure that your chart information is transferred appropriately and promptly.

🎉We are elated to announce that Dr. Bazgha Sial is joining our Legacy Medical Family on July 2, 2020. We are excited to welcome a new physician to our location and look forward to building new memories with her and her patients! *Please note, she is not currently accepting new patients at this time.*

The Legacy Medical Centre is excited to announce that over the past two weeks, we have welcomed three new babies to Legacy family! We would like to offer congratulations to Dr. Galdon, Dr. Lagadin and our wonderful booking coordinator, Laura!

With the province reopening, there are additional changes coming our way. The Chinook Regional Hospital community lab has provided us with updated hours of operation.

Monday to Friday
7:00am - 9:00am
đź’‰Appointment only for immunocompromised patients.
9:00am - 3:30pm
đź’‰Routine lab testing (walk-in and appointments)
4:00pm-5:00pm
đź’‰Lab testing for self-isolating patients who are mobile and asymptomatic by appointment only.

Saturday
đź’‰8:00am-12:00pm (walk-in)

To book an appointment for lab work at the hospital community lab, please call 403-388-6201.

Legacy Medical Centre is still operating on a modified schedule to ensure safe continuity of patient care. We will continue to provide phone consultations until it is safe to resume normal operations.

With the resumption of specialist appointments and elective procedures, their offices will begin contacting those with outstanding referrals as appointments become available. There may be a delay in scheduling due to waitlisting. If you have any concerns or if there are any changes to your health, please contact the office to schedule an appointment with your family physician.

If you need to update your contact information, please contact reception Mon-Thurs between 9am-2pm. Fri 9am-12pm.

The Legacy Medical Centre has updated the guaranteed reception hours for Monday-Thursday to 9am-2pm.* Please note that scheduled phone appointments with physicians may be booked outside of these hours. The physician will contact you based on the phone numbers available in your chart. To ensure that there is no delay in care due to incorrect contact information, please update reception with new contact information when booking appointments.

An obstetrician once told us that telling a joke is all in the delivery. For the past 6 months we were hoping that it would just be an elaborate long-term April fools joke, but yesterday we wished Dr. Jennifer Galdon farewell as she embarked on her Maternity leave! On April 13th, Dr. Noorun-Nisaa Lagadin will also be starting her Maternity leave, and will return to the clinic in August. We wish these two the best of luck and wish their families well!

👩‍⚕️Planning for the future is always a good idea, especially during these difficult times. If you would like peace of mind regarding these decisions, our doctors can go over your goals of care via phone consult.
👩‍⚕️We know that this time can have an impact on your mental health. You can now book phone consults with a physician regarding these concerns.
👩‍⚕️We also have a wonderful Behavioural Health Consultant on hand who can provide telephone consultations (referral required by physician.)
👩‍⚕️For all other heath inquiries, our office is still open for telephone or in clinic visits.

Hello Lethbridge!

We have created this page to provide the community updates to the changes at Legacy Medical Centre. Please note that we are not able to book appointments through this platform. Please call the office at 403-320-1504.

Updates Mar 24, 2020.
- We can now schedule phone appointments for family practice patients, when applicable.*

- For appointments that require in clinic visits, please note that we are taking additional precautions to ensure the thorough sterilization of the clinic. We are also changing our scheduling to ensure minimal contact with other patients.

- Due to changes in scheduling, the office phone hours may vary based on scheduling for the day. We encourage calling between 9am-2pm to schedule appointments as we may be closed in the later afternoon. We are currently working on producing a set schedule. Additional posts will clarify this new schedule as soon as possible.
