Hello. This is just a quick reminder to all Canadian Dental Care Plan holders. If you do not have the CDCP, please disregard this notice.

The renewal date for the CDCP is June 1st. What does this mean for you?
You are required to complete your 2024 taxes and upload your notice of assessment to the CDCP website for renewal, prior to June 1st, 2025. If this is not received by Sunlife, your insurance coverage will not be renewed. If you are in treatment during this time, CDCP will not provide coverage after June 1st until they receive your notice of assessment. If your claim is processed and there is a change in your coverage or it has not renewed, the patient will be required to cover the balance. Please ensure that you have completed your taxes and submitted all information required to Sunlife (CDCP).

Please be advised that the Alberta Dental for Seniors Program has switched from DASP to Alberta Blue Cross. At this time there are some glitches in the system. We are working diligently with our association and Alberta Blue Cross to correct these issues as soon as possible. Please be patient as it is out of our control. Thank you so much.

Do you have implant dentures? Are they loose?
Implant dentures have a retention liner that does wear out and needs replacing. If your implant dentures are loose, give us a call. We will fix that up for you. Have a great day!

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is ready for holidays. I know I AM.
Yesterday there was information released regarding a new federal health care plan (CDCP). Not much information has been released, so please visit www.canada.ca/dental for more information. Thank you.

The interim Canada Dental Benefit provides financial support to eligible parents and guardians who earn less than $90,000 per year. They may apply if their children under 12 years old receive dental care and do not have access to a private dental insurance plan.

We do not have any information on this. You will have to call Dental Assistance for Seniors directly for more assistance. Thank you.

What is Xerostomia?
