Good Morning 🌞

Today I awoke one year markedly more experienced. Spring is an endearing time, not only because of my birthday, it is also because of the renewal and awakening that is felt through this season.

May this reading find you with an invitation of peace within your heart, love enveloping you unconditionally, and wisdom whispering in your ears.

Many years ago when my Mom was healing from surviving Lung Cancer, I gifted her a Tree Agate. It remains to be one of her favourite stones, and when I asked her what stone I should write about next she suggested this one.

I've included Moss Agate in my post today, because it is closely linked to the respiratory system also, and often can be both lumped in together when looking for definitive meanings of these stones.

Moss Agate is not a true agate, as it has no banding, rather it is a chalcedony with dendritic inclusions, whereas most Tree Agate is a White Quartz with dendritic inclusions. Often there are trade names that become the identified stones and the name does not reflect the crystalline structure of the stone. This happening speaks to the ever evolving history of science and discovery alongside the long-standing relationship people have with stone Medicine.

Tree Agate is known to bring an inner peace to ones spiritual work, and can act as a stabilizing security stone, assisting with radical acceptance of notable experiences being endured. Physically, this stone can bring a nourishing energy to building up the immune system, especially in cases of high susceptibility of infection.

Tree Agate, and Moss Agate are both great stones to use in grids around gardens, orchards, or stand alone plants and trees. This placement increases chances of good health, especially creating a connection for communication of intentions of good health and strong growing season.

Moss Agate is spiritually liberating, alleviating heaviness from one's soul. This stone fosters an alert mindfulness for clear and effective communication with others and self. Physically, this stone cleanses tissues, lymph nodes and the respiratory tract, helping with colds, coughs, and stubborn infections.

I have found great success in using an indirectly crafted elixir of Moss Agate and Herkimer Diamond for speedy and effective clearing of stubborn coughs, as well as taking it to prevent colds from manifesting in the lungs.

Today was a jam-packed day filled with endless hellos and hugs from friends long in between being seen, and getting things done with the celebration of hard work for my youngest to cap our "ooting", so my appreciated duties as a supportive mother took priority, and the wonderful educational post about a stone was delayed by a day.

As I was speaking with my own mother earlier today I asked her to name the stone for my studies, and she chose tomorrow's topic.
I've also begun new training, a course that provides a meeting of the collective knowledge of Stone Medicine, Crystal Healing, and the Akashic Records for the 7 weeks, with live class in the morning.
So perhaps afterwards I'll have my post prepared.
