Doug and I love music. We love to sing together, we love to get others singing, we love the way music connects us. We love how sound and mantra can lead us into silence.
We're starting a monthly Singing/Chanting Circle to create a new vibration of peace, singing songs from all spiritual traditions.

This Remembrance Day, honor the sacrifices of those who came before, by cultivating inner peace and remembering that war is never the answer!

Peace is an inside job. It begins with us. It begins each time we consciously choose to take a breath, to listen and make space in our own hearts for our own feelings and for the feelings of others. It is a lifetime practice of remembering that we are not separate from each other. What I do to another, I do to myself.

Join me for a full day retreat at the Martha Retreat Centre to relax and slow down through gentle yoga, sitting and walking meditation, journaling, poetry, then end the day with Douglas MacArthur and myself leading Satsang: Songs to Inspire Peace.

Join our Dawning Light Sangha for weekly meditation practice Wednesdays, 9:30-11am MST.
We meet both online and in person at the Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta.

While inspired by the universal truth of the Buddhist teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, we are an inclusive group open to people of all faiths and traditions. We practice sitting meditation, walking meditation, breathing practices and deep relaxation. All are welcome.

Join our meditation group "under the bridge" in the Lethbridge river bottom for a Morning of Mindfulness, tomorrow (Weds, Aug 20), 9:30-11:30am.
Meet by the horseshoe pits and childrens playground, just south of Helen Schuler.

Together we will slow down and breathe and deepen our connection to the earth, cultivating peace and healing for all.

We know that spending time outside in nature is healing to our bodies, our minds, and our souls.
Join our sangha's Morning of Mindfulness in the beautiful Lethbridge river bottom this Weds, July 16, 9:30-11:30am.

We will explore meditation practices to help ground and resource us for difficult times: gentle yoga, sitting and walking meditation, and forest bathing, and river wading! All are welcome.

Only one week to go until we host 8 Plum Village monastics right here in Lethbridge at the Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta, on Wednesday, May 7th.

This is such an honor and such a rare opportunity to receive the teachings directly from monastics ordained directly by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.

The theme of the day is Mindfulness and Health and the theme for the dharma talk is very timely: Chaos, Resistance and Regeneration: Mindfulness in Uncertain Times.

9:30-2:15: Sitting and Walking meditation, dharma talk, lunch and deep relaxation
7:30-9:30pm: meditation and dharma talk with Q & A.
