LadyBug Reflexology Reflexology & Relaxation Massage, Helping the Body to Heal Itself
By appt, call, text or message Sue Reflexology does not diagnose or prescribe.

"I believe in what reflexology can do, especially after my own personal experience with it. I was introduced to reflexology after I was diagnosed with cancer. I received the go ahead from my doctor to add reflexology as a compliment to my regular treatments, and experienced no side effects (other than losing my hair). I have been cancer free since 1997 and have continued with reflexology for general health and well being.

'I released from the military after completing 21 years of service. While working with the military in a clerical position, I decided to pursue certification in reflexology, initially as a part-time option, but decided to pursue and make it my career after realizing that this was what I was meant to do. LadyBug Reflexology is the result of my passion to help others." Susan Greer, Owner/Operator

REFLEXOLOGY

How Reflexology works (as defined by The Reflexology Association of Canada):
Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive healing art that is based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears that correspond to every part of the body. The physical image of the body is mapped onto the feet in a logical, anatomical pattern; the toes represent the head, the ball of the foot corresponds to the internal organs and the heel of the foot corresponds to the pelvic region in our body. Similar maps of reflexes are found on the ears or the hands as well. Through application of pressure on these reflexes - with hands only - Reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation, opens the flow in blocked nerves and helps promote the natural functioning and healing of the body. The whole body is treated rather than a specific condition. Essentially, Reflexology helps to balance the physical, mental and emotional aspects of your whole body. If an organ or gland is underactive or overactive, Reflexology can help return it to a normal level. SESSIONS

The length of sessions are only for the actual treatment and do not include assessment or after treatment recovery time. When booking a treatment it is important to allow an extra 30-45 mins. Some clients may experience such a deep state of relaxation, that some additional time to sit or lay quietly (to recover and return to a fully alert state) is needed.

I have turned off the online booking option, because I could never get the times to align.

If you would like to book a treatment, please send me a message with the type of treatment, and your preferred date and time. I will do my best to accommodate your request.

We are also offering hand and foot massage workshops. It’s something fun to include for your next get together.

Good day everyone. It has been a whirlwind few months for me, with being in school full time, then doing a six week practicum out of town, and fitting in eye surgery as well.

Everything went well, and I am healed and ready to go.

My first semester is nearly over. It has been an intense program, but it is a good one.

When the Winter term starts in January, I will post my availability for treatments.

08/23/2024

I will be heading back to school on 4 September. It’s going to be exciting and busy, but I’m looking forward to it.

I have a class each day of the week, but to keep my skills sharp I could do treatments in the evenings and on Saturdays.

01/10/2024

Now that I’ve started my classes, I can accommodate appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesday mornings and Saturday mornings.

This will be during the current semester, which is in progress until 19 April, 2024.

Happy New Year to all.

I just wanted to let everyone know that once I know what my class schedule is going to be, I will post the days and times that I will be available for treatments.

Thank you for your support

Well life presents as many gifts as it does challenges for me. Next year will bring a new one, I’m going back to school.

I’ve been accepted for full time study at Lethbridge College. While I’m excited for the opportunities and challenges this presents, it does mean that LadyBug Reflexology will be closing at the end of the year.

I will keep this page going, as I will be retaining my certification so that I can continue to provide treatments and honour anyone with gift certificates; appointments will have to be worked around my studies.

Thank you to all of my clients, I value each and every one of you.

"Whole person wellness is a holistic approach to achieving and maintaining optimal well-being, addressing the complete individual - encompassing mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects," explains Rachel Dew, PhD., Doctor of Natural Medicine and the founder of the Integrative Wellness Academy in Los Angeles.
This approach emphasizes a client-centered approach to health and wellness, allowing individuals to take charge of their own well-being.
At the Reflexology Association of Canada, we believe that health and wellness should be client led, and encompass a wide range of healthcare options, including reflexology.
