Oki, hello! My name is Kalli Eagle Speaker and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist. I have my Master of Education (MEd.) degree in Counselling Psychology and my Bachelor of Arts and Science (BASc.) degree in Indigenous Studies and Psychology.

I am Blood/Blackfoot and proudly come from the Blood Reserve. My background as an Indigenous woman influences and inspires my role as a counsellor, personally and professionally. I recognize the many disparities that exist in healthcare, and it is my goal to ensure those who seek counselling services feel heard, seen, and understood. I am an advocate for culturally-competent care in the mental health field, and I am grateful to offer a unique perspective.

My counselling work is influenced by my Blackfoot way of life, where we emphasize story-telling that explores our experiences, promotes introspection, and collaboratively reflects on the lessons and insights of your journey, so far. I emphasize trust and rapport as a foundation of the therapeutic alliance, and I am grateful to be in the presence of my client’s stories that are often unheard by others.

I implement evidence-based modalities and techniques in my work where we will explore what works for you and tailor to your needs. My therapeutic perspective works to address the various parts of you that make you whole, to explore the chapters in your narrative, and to ensure that we work collaboratively to identify the goals for your counselling journey.

In my story, I am a hockey player and an avid hockey fan (go Flames go!), a jingle dress dancer, a seamstress and beader, and an auntie who loves music, comedians, and building Lego.

I work Tuesdays and Thursdays with daytime and evening appointments available. Please feel free to contact me at kalli.counselling@gmail.com for any inquiries, or book through JANE: https://kallicounselling.janeapp.com/ #/staff_member/1

Hello! My name is Sarah Holmgren and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor. I have a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Psychology, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Counselling degree. I am also trained as an EMDR therapist.

I have spent the last 15 years working as a teacher and administrator in the public school system, during which time I realized my passion for supporting students, staff and families with the various challenges that life can bring.

I take an integrative, person-centered approach to therapy, which means we will work together to ensure therapy is a safe and effective experience. I believe that everyone does well when they can, not when they want to, so my goal with clients to help them discover their best self.

When I am not supporting clients, I love creating and performing music, whether it be with choir, orchestra, or by writing and performing original songs at various venues around the province. I also love spending time outside, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, skiing…anything that gets me moving in the fresh air!

I love working with children, teens and adults, and am offering in-person sessions Fridays and Saturdays. I will also be offering virtual sessions for more flexibility during the week. I can be reached directly via email at holmgrencounselling@gmail.com or you can book with me here: https://holmgrencounselling.janeapp.com/admin

Hi! My name is Tamara Constantine. I’m a Registered Provisional Psychologist (supervised by Carly Sharpe) with a Master of Counselling in Applied Psychology from the University of Lethbridge. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education.

Before I started my journey to become a psychologist, I worked as an elementary school teacher for several years. During this time, I developed a strong understanding of child mental health and behaviour, and worked closely with families and caregivers. I’m passionate about supporting adults, teens, and children ages five and up. With children, I utilize a Child-Centred, Synergetic Play Therapy approach. In my work with adults and teens, I draw from a variety of approaches, including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness, and somatic therapies.

My areas of interest include eating disorders and disordered eating, with a special interest in binge eating disorder, body image, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, burnout, phobias, emotional regulation, people-pleasing, and life transitions. I’m committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where people feel genuinely seen. My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, grounded in the belief that meaningful and lasting change happens when individuals feel safe, supported, and understood.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions throughout the week, with daytime and evening availability, as well as select holiday appointments.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to yoga, baking, paddleboarding, and anything that involves summer and warm weather!
I can be reached directly by email at tamarapsychservices@gmail.com or you can book in with me here: https://tamaraconstantinepsychology.janeapp.com/ #/staff_member/1

True story ❤️ Your body is listening, and responds to your thoughts, feelings, the state of your nervous system and how you take care of yourself. ❤️ And your body is also speaking to you in its own language - through tension, bracing, headaches, indigestion, restricted breathing, and so much more. And there’s nothing your body wants more than for you to listen to it and respond to it with love and care. ❤️

It’s a big deal that you’re grieving and it’s supposedly “the most wonderful time of the year”. Loss makes the tasks of daily life feel like big lifts and this season tends to come with its own set of additional activities, some or many of which you may not have the capacity for. Remember that there is no “right” or “wrong” in how you choose to acknowledge (or not acknowledge) this tender season. Take it day by day and do what you can to take care of you.

If you’re grieving this holiday season, check out Option B and our holiday resource page at optionb.org/holidays.
