Hello! My name is Chelzea and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with a MA in Counselling psychology from Yorkville University.

My approach is centred around you, meeting you exactly where you are. You are the expert of your own life, and together, we can uncover the best path forward. By leveraging your inherent strengths, we can develop personalized strategies that resonate with your unique situation.

As an Indigenous descendant of the Blood Tribe, I have an intimate understanding of Indigenous culture and a commitment to blending traditional and modern healing practices. This unique perspective enhances my approach, providing a holistic and culturally sensitive experience.

I have a keen interest in working with individuals dealing struggling with depression, stress, and anxiety. My therapeutic methods are tailored to help you navigate these challenges by tapping into your resilience and empowering you to take charge of your emotional well-being. I draw from CBT, mindfulness, polyvagal theory, systems theories and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy).

I view trust as the cornerstone of our therapeutic relationship. I aim to foster a supportive and empathetic environment where you feel heard, understood, and valued. Life, much like therapy, is a journey—a work in progress—and I'm here to walk this path with you.

My philosophy is grounded in the belief that everyone is worthy and it's okay to take up space. I understand the deep-seated desire to belong and strive to create an inclusive atmosphere where you can truly be yourself. What I love most about being a mental health professional is witnessing the growth and enlightenment that clients experience on their journey.

I will be offering daytime appointments Tuesday’s starting July 8.

Hello, Oki, Taanshi! My name is Alannah and I am a registered provisional psychologist being supervised by Erin Musick, one of the owners of LCS. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked for over a decade with children, teens, and families in Saskatchewan, Maryland, and Alberta - helping them navigate some of life's most difficult challenges.

My specialties include increasing parents' confidence and enjoyment in parenting, connecting with at-risk or hard-to-reach youth, guiding families through grief, divorce/separation, and serious illness, and navigating ADHD diagnoses in childhood or adulthood.

I am dedicated to providing a safe therapeutic space for youth and adults who are gender-diverse or exploring their gender identities. Clients often describe their experience with me as informal and relaxed, impactful, and genuine. Perfection is never the goal. We work together to create strategies to move you in the direction you wish to go at your own pace.

My approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning I strive to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, open, and non-judgmental with YOU as the expert in your own life. I incorporate interventions from Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy, and Somatic Therapies to create a treatment plan that fits you as an individual. With children and youth, play and artistic expression are key tools I use in exploring their strengths and building skills to improve their emotional health. Parents are treated as integral partners in their children's therapy, creating meaningful change that lasts.

Outside of work, I treasure precious time spent with my husband, two young sons, and my 16-year-old dog, Ellamenno. On the weekends I'm often either camping, hiking, bird watching, or (if the weather isn't cooperating) baking/cooking with my family. I LOVE metal music, so if you see me headbanging in my car on the way to the office, be sure to wave hello!

I am accepting new clients as of June 1st, and will offer new appointment times as my client list grows

Ask from a place of curiosity vs. judgement 🩷 What choices do I have available to me? What can I do more of? Less of? What do I really want? Am I making this better? Or worse? Are the choices in making aligned with my values? My goals?

Focusing on what we have control over vs. what we don’t feels sooo much better and helps us to plug back into our own power and reminds us how capable we truly are.🩷

Oki. Hello. My name is Cora McDougall-Price. My Blackfoot name is Naatoa’tohkai.

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor. My academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (Honours) from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2009 and Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge in 2011.

Over the past 15 years, I have worked and volunteered in a variety of settings: therapeutic schools (Calgary and Lethbridge), non-for-profit and private counselling agencies. For several years, I was employed by the Lethbridge emergency women’s shelter, providing services to children, teenagers and families who were escaping violence and or/ poverty. I have worked extensively with clients who have experienced developmental trauma including issues related to abuse, family and sexual violence, addiction, parenting-in-crisis, child development and safety. I am especially passionate about Indigenous culture and integrating both traditional and non-traditional ways of healing.

Overall, my counselling approach can be described as strengths-based, person-centered and trauma-informed. My practice is also influenced by Attachment Theory and Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. I integrate strategies from therapies such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play and Expressive Arts and EMDR to assist my clients in achieving growth and positive change.

In my spare time I am kept (very!) busy with my three young sons. We love to sing, swim and spend time together in nature exploring and adventuring.

I offer both daytime and evening appointments during the week.
