Can we talk about the thing nobody says out loud?

The mom guilt that hits hardest at 3am — when you're already exhausted and doing everything right — isn't a sign that you're a bad mom.

It's a sign that you care deeply, in a culture that has wildly unrealistic expectations of mothers.
The guilt, the rage, the grief for your old self — these aren't character flaws. They're completely normal responses to something enormous. And they deserve more than being pushed down and powered through.

If any of this is sitting in your chest right now — you're in the right place. Find my link to connect in my bio.

Capacity doesn’t equal capability.

Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you have the capacity for it right now.

You might be a capable woman in many ways — but right now your nervous system is in survival mode.

Your energy is going toward healing, feeding, bonding, and simply surviving the fourth trimester.

That doesn’t make you lazy.
It doesn’t mean you are failing.
It doesn’t mean you aren’t cut for this.

You are not meant to operate at full capacity while your body and identity are going through one of the biggest transformations of your life.

So if you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or behind… please give yourself permission to do less.

Your worth is not measured by how much you can handle. You’re allowed to protect your limited capacity.

This is your reminder: Doing less right now doesn’t mean you’re less capable. It means you’re listening to what your body and nervous system actually need. 🤍

If you’re struggling with this balance, you’re not alone. DM me or tap the link in bio — I’d love to support you.

You love your baby —
but sometimes, you miss yourself.

You crave silence, a breath, a moment to hear your own thoughts again.

The days blur together… feeding, soothing, cleaning, wondering if you’re doing enough.

You’re not broken — you’re becoming.
Motherhood is a profound transformation, and you deserve to be supported through it.

Here's something you can do the next time you're completely touched out — and you're still holding the baby.

Firmly plant your feet on the ground, feel the floor, feel where you are. Cross your arms across your chest and give yourself a tight squeeze. Now take a breath where the exhale is just a little longer than the inhale. Not a deep breath. Not a meditation. Just an honest breath with some weight behind it.

This is a simple somatic technique — and it works because it gives your nervous system a signal that it's okay to soften, even just a little.

You don't have to feel zen. You don't have to feel anything. Just try it.
This is the kind of thing we work on together in somatic sessions. Link in my bio if you want to learn more 🤍

To every mama pouring love out endlessly — even on the days you feel empty.

This Mother’s Day and every day, I want you to know:

You’re seen.
You’re appreciated.
You’re doing beautifully.
You’re so deeply loved.

Whether this season feels joyful, heavy, or somewhere in between — your love, your effort, and your heart matter more than you know.

Happy Mother’s Day, beautiful soul 💕 You deserve to be celebrated today and every day.

Your body isn’t being dramatic.

It’s carrying sleep deprivation, constant touch, emotional weight, and possibly things from your own childhood that motherhood has brought back to the surface.
Of course it’s overwhelmed.

Somatic work is one of the gentlest, most effective ways I know to help your nervous system find its way back to you.

If you’re curious and ready to feel more like yourself again — my link is in my bio and I offer free discovery calls.

Let's connect so that you don’t have to keep pushing through this alone 💕

Dear Incredible Mamas,

As we gently close the chapter on 2025 and open our hearts to 2026, I want to say a deep, heartfelt THANK YOU. Thank you for your support this year – your stories, your shares, your vulnerability, and the beautiful community we've built together. You've inspired me beyond words, and I'm so grateful for each of you. 🤍

This new year, let's release the pressure of traditional resolutions (those "do more, be better" goals that can sometimes whisper we're not enough just as we are).

Instead, let's embrace heart-led intentions – soft, nourishing guides rooted in what truly matters to your heart. What brings you joy? What feels aligned and authentic in this season of motherhood? These intentions flow from self-compassion and abundance, helping us reclaim fulfillment on our own terms. 🌿

What's one word, phrase you're carrying into 2026 as your heart-led intention? Drop yours in the comments – I can't wait to celebrate it with you! 🌸

Wishing you a peaceful, joyful, and deeply nourishing New Year. You've got this, mama – you are enough. 🫶🏻

With love and gratitude,
Cindy

Hey moms and parents!

This is a question I get a lot and the answer is YES! Check your benefit plan to be sure - it is often listed under paramedical providers similar to physiotherapy and speech-language pathology.

As a profession, we are actively advocating for more health insurance companies to cover OT and we are making headway as more and more people see the benefits of OT.

If you don't have coverage but would love to have support for you or your child please reach out - we have options that can help!
