These spices are a big seller here at our store (especially the Alberta Blend!) and we just love and appreciate what Mia & Sagar has created, so we wanted to share more about them and what makes their spices so unique!

1️⃣ Behind the brand:
CanSpice is 100% independently owned and Canadian-operated. CanSpice was founded by Mia (a certified nutritionist) and Sagar (a former farmer) with a mission to bring clean, organic, and locally rooted spices back to everyday cooking.

2️⃣ What makes their spices different:
Because spices shouldn’t come with a side of pesticides. Most conventional spices are often grown with chemical sprays, treated with fumigants like ethylene oxide, zapped with radiation, or blended with anti-caking agents and fillers. Organic spices are the opposite. No pesticides. No fake flow agents. No strange sterilization methods. Just clean, certified-organic plants from soil to seal.

Alberta Blend 🌿
A Canadian twist on an Italian blend. Our Alberta Blend is a homegrown mix of basil, thyme, oregano, marjoram, and summer savory—five prairie herbs grown organically on a family-run farm in Northern Alberta.
