Say hello to Beck from Beck’s Broth! 👋🏻 Beck’s Broth is always a big seller in the store, most of the staff here LOVE their products, and we just love Beck and her company and staff!

Check out a little bit more about her and the business ⬇️

1) Please tell us a bit about your background and how this business came to be.
I’m a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and was focused on gut health before starting Beck’s Broth. I often recommended bone broth to my clients, but most found it hard to drink daily - yet they had no problem spending $10 every morning on a latte. That’s when it hit me: what if bone broth could taste like their favourite café drink? And that’s how Beck’s Broth was born.

2) What made you get started?
Once the idea struck, I felt this spark I couldn’t ignore. I was so energized and passionate about it, there was truly no turning back.

3) What is special about bone broth?
I first fell in love with bone broth because it’s such a beautiful example of upcycling - transforming leftover bones into something deeply nourishing. It’s packed with collagen, protein, vitamins, and minerals, and it’s incredibly easy for your body to digest.

4) What is different about your product compared to similar products?
Our bone broth doesn’t taste like bone broth. You’re getting a rich, decadent hot chocolate, matcha, or coffee experience—with all the benefits of bone broth hidden inside.

5) What is your favourite way to drink it, and what would you recommend?
I love blending one sachet of our hot chocolate with half an avocado and a splash of milk - it turns into the most delicious avocado mousse. You get healthy fats, fibre, and protein all in one dreamy, creamy treat.

Our Story

We are a local, women owned and operated small business. We are passionate about health, our planet and our local Southern Albertan community. We believe it is important to give back to the community that supports you and therefore we support our community whenever we can.

We aim to provide unique, high quality, environmentally responsible, clean foods. We are always looking for a better, cleaner, tastier product to put on our shelves. Healthy eating should be fun and delicious!!!

We feel that we have a responsibility to change how we produce, perceive and deal with waste. We encourage waste reduction and provide the opportunity to refill many different items including but (not limited to) Kombucha, shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, laundry detergent, household cleaners, bulk foods, Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, herbs and spices. We are part of 100 Companies That Care and donate monthly to participate in a larger initiative that donates a large amount of money to a local charity multiple times per year. We donate regularly to other local charities and events such as (but not limited to) Lethbridge Food Bank, Interfaith food bank, Feed the Need Boxes, Last Chance Cat Ranch, Lethbridge Humane Society, Lethbridge YWCA, and Woods Home Lethbridge. We feel blessed that we get to make choices that positively impact our local environment. When we have a choice, we aim to always choose better. If we can choose organic over conventional, we will. If we can choose glass over plastic, we will. We will choose no packaging over packed. Canadian over international. Albertan is better and Southern Albertan is best. We work tirelessly to provide our community with the best products possible. We are constantly thinking, changing, upgrading and refining who we are and what we do.
