Brand new research involving 2946 participants, has found that up to 32% of 8-year incident dementia (dementia that appeared over an 8 year observation period) could be attributable to hearing loss.

The good news is that hearing loss is usually treatable. Make an appointment to talk to one of our Audiologists or hearing care specialists.

This cohort study calculates the fraction of a large older adult population for whom incident dementia may have been associated with hearing loss.
