DESCRIPTION:
This advanced workshop is specifically for practitioners with experience and familiarity with working with the gut. It is the foundational piece of somatic communication and delves into the gut as our original brain and the centerpiece for all of what is going on with our bodies. It is multilayered just like our digestive systems. A big part of working with clients digestive systems is being able to be present in our own gut. This is a place that in our modern world most of us are quite dissociated from. The focus of this workshop is first for us to do our own self-care and deepen our own experience of our digestion, in this way it becomes automatic for our somatic communication systems to resonate and understand on a somatic level what is going on with our clients guts.

New findings show father's gut microbiome affects baby. One of these ways is: S***m from the treated male mice negatively impacted placental development and exhibited hallmarks of pre-eclampsia, leading to restricted normal fetal growth.

An altered gut microbiome has been linked to various chronic diseases. New findings in mice reveal that a disrupted paternal gut microbiome impacts pregnancy health and increases the risk of growth issues in their future offspring.

Lumen Natura offers nutritional and dietary advice based on many years of experience as a chef, including rising to the level of Executive Chef at Boutique international hotels, and based on her experience as a wellness practitioner. She also completed the official GAPS Practitioner training in 2011. GAPS Diet Consultations are 90 minutes and are usually conducted online. Follow-up sessions may be needed at different stages in the diet when new foods are being added or if any issues arise.
