Nothing annoys me more than fighting for care patients are entitled to, after being denied by insurance for car accident claims or workplace injuries.

Here is the kicker…delays in care exponentially increase recovery times, which means denying claims will likely result in insurance companies paying out more in the long run. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Concussions lead to a disregulation between the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems (fight or flight vs. rest and digest). Breathwork/meditiation/box breathing have been shown to help bring those two nervous systems back to homeostasis.

🎄This is our last week in clinic before holidays! If you need to get in call the office as soon as possible. We will do our best to get you in, even with our very booked schedule. Don’t see something online…call! We are shut down for 10 days as of Friday December 20th. You can also email reception@eliteperformanceandwellness.ca.

Also a reminder that last minute cancellations will result in 50% of your appointment fee charged. It is not fair to patients trying to get in for others to no show for their appointment. It’s a very busy time of year for everyone so please be kind.

❄️Dress for the weather
❄️Try to shovel multiple times throughout the storm
❄️Don’t overload your shovel
