If you’re wondering why your favourite takeout spot suddenly isn’t taking orders… this is probably why. 😭🍕

Hydro One crews will be completing maintenance work that requires a SCHEDULED power outage from:

🕘 Saturday, May 23 at 9 PM
until
🕔 Sunday, May 24 at 5 AM

That's great for those of us who are asleep by 9 pm on a Saturday night ⚡⚡

According to Hydro One’s outage map, more than 16,000 customers could be affected.

Communities impacted include:

🔌 Cameron
🔌 Dunsford
🔌 Little Britain
🔌 Lindsay
🔌 Manilla
🔌 Oakwood

Now’s the time to:

We are so excited to share that the BeaYOUtiful Foundation — a registered Canadian charity focused on confidence, self-esteem, and mental wellness for girls and non-binary youth ages 8–14 — is coming to Kawartha Lakes! 💜✨

In partnership with Ampere Lindsay Makerspace, the very first FREE body positivity workshops will take place on Sunday, May 24th. These workshops are designed to empower youth through meaningful conversations, mentorship, and confidence-building activities in a safe and supportive space.

We encourage families, caregivers, educators, and community members to share this opportunity with youth who could benefit from this amazing free resource. Together, we can help young people feel seen, valued, and confident in who they are. 🌟
