❤️Crash-a-versary❤️

A word that you wonder if you want to celebrate or not. Let me give you my opinion.
Today is 10 years. I know how life changing, physically and mentally, it is to be in a traumatic accident. Regardless of the extent of your injuries, regardless of how much you have accomplished, I want you to celebrate.
Celebrate that you are still here to tell the story. By sharing your story, you educate others. This can be by preventing them from driving irrationally, this can also be assisting others in your situation. What you go through, what you feel, what you think....it's important to share. Someone is trying to understand what or how to take their next step. They are struggling. Please help them.
If you are the one needing the help, reach out. We are a group of people who are connected to so many in the same situation. Let's chat. Don't be afraid to message me.
Going towards that dark hole is very difficult to turn away from. Let us help you find light.
Life is different...that's not going to change. How can life now be enjoyed in your current situation? This is now your focus.
Crashaversary. Celebrate every little thing you accomplish. It's not easy. We know! We will celebrate with you.

In September we started hosting community open mics that fundraise for different organizations every month with the help of FLATO Academy Theatre Lindsay , Van Halteren's Music Centre and Lindsay Dodge Chrysler Ltd. It has grown to be a great success.
The local musicians were able to assist Women's Resources with improvements that are desperately needed for their shelter and we are absolutely proud of this accomplishment.

Thanks to everyone involved in this well organized fundraiser through Lindsay Dodge Chrysler. It is so amazing to see how you all continue to assist our community!

We are not clowning around when we ask you to drive safe.

9 years ago, this sweet little girl and her dad were killed unnecessarily in an avoidable accident.

Avoidable.

The driver made a decision that ended the lives of a father and daughter. Leaving a mother and another little girl alone.

Don't be this person. Please make the right decision.

Drive safe.

Rest in Peace sweet Bridget and her daddy Tim.

The automatic headlights in vehicles detects brightness outside the vehicle with an Illuminance sensor which activates when light picked up by the sensor drops below a certain level.

This does not activate because of inclement weather such as snow ,rain or fog, so please use your headlights manually for safety while driving in these weather condition.

In addition daytime running lights (DRL) on most new vehicles may activate white lights to the front but leave the taillights off which leads to many driving at night or in inclement weather feeling headlights are on without any rear lighting being present.

If in doubt turn your headlights on!
