A huge thank you to St. Dave's Diner and the amazing group of philanthropists from I.E. Weldon! Together, they hosted a Holiday Bake Sale throughout December and raised $355 in support of Community Care. We’re recruiting Community Connectors — caring volunteers who help reduce social isolation by offering friendly outreach, supportive listening, and encouragement to take part in local activities and programs.

As a Community Connector, you’ll help clients build confidence, discover community resources, and feel more connected to others. It’s a flexible role and full training and support are provided by our Wellness Team.

If you’re someone who enjoys conversation, values inclusivity, and believes in neighbours-helping-neighbours, we’d love to hear from you!

The Community Care Foundation team is thrilled to congratulate our Draw #3 jackpot winner, Marie Y!!

Thanks to the incredible support from everyone who purchased tickets, the jackpot grew to $5,125, and our winner took home half of that total!
