WHAT IS A CUPPING MASSAGE???

When you think of cupping you probably picture the dark red circles of bruising. That happens when a cup is left in place for a couple minutes. However, I use the cup in a massaging motion so that is unlikely to happen to you if you book a treatment with me!

This would be a beneficial addition to a Deep muscle therapy session to get even deeper to those tight knots.

Dry cupping is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves placing cups on the skin and creating a vacuum to draw the skin and underlying tissues into the cup.
How it works:
A vacuum is created inside the cup by using a suction device. This suction pulls the skin and tissues into the cup, which is thought to promote blood flow, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain.

Benefits of Cupping:

Muscle Relaxation:
The suction can help to release tension and knots in the muscles.
Improved Circulation:
The suction can promote blood flow to the treated area.
Pain Relief:
Dry cupping may help alleviate pain and discomfort.
Reduced Inflammation:
The suction can help to reduce inflammation in the tissues.
