Our People of Perth County campaign shines a spotlight on the local entrepreneurs and business owners who help our communities thrive.
Continuing the celebration of Ontario Agriculture Week, we’re excited to feature Noah — a passionate beekeeper and owner of Andriessen Apiaries in North Perth.
Noah’s roots in Perth County run deep. Raised on a family farm in Listowel, he developed a strong connection to the land early on. In 2022, that connection took shape in a new way — through beekeeping. Today, he manages 35 hives and sells honey in over 10 local stores.
His business began with door-to-door sales, building one-on-one relationships with customers and slowly growing his reach. “It was through community and door-to-door sales that actually got me into my first stores,” Noah says.
Support from other local businesses has played a big part in his journey. From Applebottom Orchards to Kadylack Farm Sunflower Walk & Farms, he’s grateful for the willingness of small businesses to lift each other up.
With big plans for the future and a strong foundation of community behind him, Noah is excited to keep growing — right here in the place he’s always called home.
