A new era for New Horizons Rehabilitation Services Inc. & Fortitude Performance & Rehab

As of March 1st, 2026, June Williamson will be passing the reins over to Dr. Alex Wilson as the new owner of New Horizons Rehabilitation Services Inc.

Fortitude Performance & Rehab will become a division of New Horizons Rehab, while continuing to operate as it has — in the same location, with the same approach to care.

This transition represents growth, collaboration, and a shared commitment to what matters most: exceptional patient care.

To the patients of New Horizons Rehab — the foundation of this clinic has been built over the past 32 years, and that remains unchanged. The same values, the same dedication, and the same focus on ensuring every patient feels heard, understood, and supported in reaching their goals will continue moving forward.

To the patients of Fortitude — there will now be the added flexibility of accessing care at either location, depending on what best fits your schedule. As this transition unfolds, hours at Fortitude may vary slightly throughout the month of March while everything settles into the new structure.

This moment would not be complete without recognizing June.

Over the past 32 years, June has built something truly special within this community and for this community. Her commitment to exceptional patient care, her consistency, and the relationships she has fostered have made a lasting impact that extends far beyond the clinic walls. That legacy will be carried forward with the utmost respect.

This next chapter is rooted in continuity, growth, and a shared vision for the future. June is truly excited about this next chapter with Alex, and has every confidence that the clinic and the community are in the best possible hands.

Tammy Morrell, Rehab Therapist and June Williamson, PT and owner had the privilege of attending the 2025 Provincial Brain Injury Conference in Niagara Falls this past week, November 5-7. We listened to amazing keynote speakers, and attended engaging concurrent sessions we left with deeper knowledge of how to approach and treat the very complex injury of acquired brain injury.
We enjoyed time with friends and colleagues and attended Thursday evening social events. I will never tire of Niagara Falls. It’s so obvious why it is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. I’m already looking forward to next time.
