Hey MAMAS!
I am so excited to be partnering up with some additional prenatal resources within our community!

We are hoping to be able to offer classes like this on a continual basis to provide information and resources to our soon to be mothers and partners!

Do you have Diastasis Recti?

Here are a few things you can do to help bring those muscles closer together!

This is something that can cause potential back/injury and increase your risk of having a hernia as you age.

It is also something that can gradually get worse over time, and get worse if planning on having more babies in your future.

You can ask your doctor, physiotherapist, or myself for more ways to improve on this. 🤍

Since we are giving things a fresh start around here…. I’m Allyssa!

I started to specialize and put a focus on women’s health a little over a year ago. I began to recognize the gap in care/services within our community and thought that this was an area that I could help improve! Some of the main services that I offer are:
- Online coaching
- Exercise therapy sessions & corrective exercise
- Prenatal & postpartum exercise classes (coming February)

Besides work, 2022 was an incredible year!
- My husband and I took 6 weeks and travelled Europe, we got to see so many amazing things and it was honestly a trip of a lifetime. I LOVE to travel so on top of this trip last year I also went to Nashville, Toronto, and Kelowna ✈️

- While we were in Amsterdam we got engaged! 💍

- We then eloped in October and got married by ourselves 👰🏻‍♀️ (literally had to ask strangers to be our witnesses)

- And we have a Rottweiler that I just love so so much 🐾

If 2023 is anything like last year, we are in for a great time! I hope to see you crushing your goals ✌🏻

🚨ACCOUNT UPDATE 🚨

I’ve decided that I needed to hit the reset button with this account. It is SO HARD to maintain a social media account that you are also trying to advertise your own business through. So things weren’t quite looking how I had envisioned and I felt like with new goals in mind and new services coming, I needed to refresh everything!

I am so excited to share that I will now be offering online personal training/coaching!!!
I have been interested in providing this service for a while now so what better time than now. I have been creating training programs for my clients for over 5 years already, just under different circumstances. So I am finally ready to provide this service on my own (I don’t actually know if I’m ready lol but I’m not talking myself out of it for the 700th time 🤦🏻‍♀️)
So if this is something you are interested in, I have included the link in my bio!

I am focusing on women’s health as a whole. So if that looks like starting an exercise program, focusing on rehabbing your body postpartum, preparing for pregnancy/labour, or needing to specifically work on corrective exercises to address a problem, I am your girl!

I will still be offering availability at Axial Physio for Exercise Therapy appointments & starting in February I will also be offering prenatal & postpartum classes! (Location & schedule still TBD)

I am excited to have the availability to expand services, hoping to be able to provide a little something for the women in our community 🤍

How are we already in the last month of the year?!

I have been a little MIA lately, but for good reason! I have been working on extending my services and preparing for an increase in availability come the new year!!

I will be sharing what I’ve been working on very soon, so hopefully I will be able to provide additional resources to everyone who needs them!!

Until then, I am still offering evening appointments in clinic until December 21, 2022 and home visits by request!!

New month, new goals!

I really try to spend some time once a month to reflect on where I am. Reviewing the goals I set from last month, did I reach them, am I continuing to move forward, what things do I need to change.

A few things I am focusing on this month:

🤎 reaching my daily water intake
🤎 rescheduling my day to “waste” less time.
🤎 adding personal exercise into my routine
🤎 being mindful/ aware of what I am eating.

I have some exciting news to share, we got married!

We decided to elope on October 14, 2022 to have a personal, intimate and stress free ceremony 🤍💍
