The Lockeport & Area Medical First Responders are proud to celebrate our 25th Anniversary!
Since 2001, we have been honoured to serve the residents of Lockeport & surrounding communities by providing emergency medical response, support, and care when it matters most.

This milestone is a reflection of the dedication of our past and present members, and the incredible support we’ve received from our community over the years. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

Do not leave vehicles parked on streets.
Let plow operators and emergency crews do their work.
Be prepared for potential power disruptions Exercise caution when shoveling.

A major winter storm is expected.

Total snowfall: 20 to 30 cm, except potentially 40 to 50 cm along the coast.

Maximum wind gusts: northeasterly 80 km/h, except 100 over exposed areas.

Locations: Shelburne, Queens and Lunenburg counties.

Time span: Monday morning until early Tuesday.

Remarks: Strong winds accompanying the snow will reduce visibility at times in blowing snow. Snowfall rates may exceed 5 cm/hr at times Monday afternoon and evening. Heavy wet snow is expected to transition to rain along the Atlantic coast Monday evening.

Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.

Avoid non-essential travel and outdoor activities. Prepare for disruptions to transportation, services and utilities.
