Burnout Mindsets Part 2!
"Being exhausted is part of being a mom"
"Burnout is a normal part of parenting"
The thing is, if you believe motherhood will be exhausting, you will prove yourself right! You will look for the things that confirms it, you won't think twice about over spending your energy or taking more onto your plate. Because you're bound to be exhausted anyways so why not also be super productive π€·π»ββοΈ
When this mindset is combined with the belief from Part 1 (Everyone's needs come first) it's easy to see how these create a system that don't support mom.
I am in no way claiming that parenthood is easy with some mindset shifts, sleep deprivation + everything else is going to make us tired! But burnout is the point of physical and emotional exhaustion, when you are running on empty.
Understanding and shifting your mindset allows you to change the system that got you to the point of burnout. So you can take the steps and set the boundaries that allow you to recover and find joy again!
