What Really Happens During a Reiki Session!?

People can get scared of the unknown and if you’ve never experienced the magic that happens during a session you could potentially close yourself off from ever experiencing it!

Us humans are all energetic beings and everything around is energy. During our day to day interactions we could potentially take on a lot of energy from other people, emotions, situations around us and even watching television. If we’re not careful, these energies that flow through us day in and day out can potentially cause blockages.

During a reiki session, I have you lay on a table and make sure you’re comfortable.
Since Reiki is a hands on healing technique, I do place my hands on certain areas (it is not mandatory that I do, if that makes you uncomfortable I can hold my hands over the areas as well) I start at your feet and make my way up to your head and make my way back down. I’m just the channel for God/The Universe whatever you believe in, to transmute healing energy throughout your body on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

During this time you may feel heat or sensations moving throughout your body, a sense of deep relaxation, pulsations where I’ve touched or cascading waves throughout the body. Or you may not feel anything at all! Every client has their own experience and every session is different!

Receiving Reiki is a wonderfully passive experience. Don't try to relax, just let the Reiki relax you. Your state will shift quite naturally as the session proceeds. Meanwhile feel free to daydream, enjoy the music, or simply observe your breath or the sensations of the therapy.

Gratitude is a Must✨
It’s one of those things that can easily be forgotten at times. The past few days I found myself so fixated on what the future has in store and forgot to be CONSCIOUSLY GRATEFUL for Where I am today and what I’ve been able to accomplish thus far. My energy was off and I couldn’t figure out why! Last night I sat peacefully at my grandfathers grave and the words hit me like a ton of bricks… GRATITUDE! This morning I made sure to get back into my routine of speaking out loud what I’m grateful for and the shift has been absolutely mind blowing! I say this to say, Do your best to consciously be aware of the things you are grateful for! It makes a hell of a difference💫
