Hey, it’s me, Linda!

I posted the other day about having cancer, and my world being turned upside down this past year.

As a small business owner, going through ups and downs has really been part of the deal, and I swear, we become experts at riding the waves and pushing through when times get tough.

Opening up Balance + Tranquility was done to help create a space where everyone feels welcome, and has a space to pause, to reduce the chaos and stress, to breathe.

As I navigate the next few months, I appreciate even more the support that you have shown us, and I hope that you can also find peace within the storm when you walk through our doors.

A little honesty from behind the scenes.

This year has been the hardest of my life. Being diagnosed with cancer has turned my world upside down, and despite my best efforts, I’ve dropped a few balls along the way. Sometimes that has meant missed messages, late replies, or things not happening as quickly as they should.

I can’t go back and change those moments, but I can take accountability and say: I’m sorry. I’m human, and right now, I’m doing my best to keep things running while navigating treatment and healing.

If you’ve felt the effects of this season - a delay, a mix-up, a quiet response - thank you for your patience and for continuing to support Balance + Tranquility through it all.

If you’re going through a hard season yourself, know that you are seen and heard. You will drop balls. You will have to apologize. And you will get through it - just as we will.
