Avoid Blood Thinners: Refrain from taking blood-thinning medications, supplements, or substances like aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, and fish oil for at least one to two weeks before the procedure. This helps reduce the risk of bruising and bleeding.

Alcohol and Caffeine: Minimize alcohol intake for a few days before the treatment, as alcohol can increase the risk of bruising. Similarly, limit caffeine intake to reduce the likelihood of bleeding.

Hydration: Stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to the treatment. Proper hydration can contribute to better skin health and recovery.

Avoid Strenuous Exercise: Refrain from engaging in vigorous exercise or strenuous physical activity for at least 24 hours before the procedure. Physical exertion can increase blood flow and may contribute to bruising.

Topical Products: Avoid using topical products containing retinoids or acids on the lips for a few days before the treatment, as these may increase sensitivity.
