COVID-19 - Novel Coronavirus
As risk for infection by the coronavirus COVID-19 in Canada and more specifically in London/Middlesex is considered low, we are open for business at this time. We are actively monitoring the situation and will follow whatever recommendations are made by the Middlesex Health Unit. We will continue to update our clients as the situation evolves.
As regulated health professionals we follow infection prevention and control guidelines set by the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario that are consistent with the recommendations provided by the Middlesex Health Unit, World Health Unit (WHO), and the Public Health Agency of Canada.
We are committed to the health and safety of all our clients. We are requesting that all clients and staff follow good hygiene. Hand sanitizer is available in all rooms and it’s use will be encouraged. We regularly disinfect surfaces in our office as well as any contaminated materials.
If you or your child are unwell within 24 hours before your appointment, please call, email or text your therapist to cancel your child’s appointment. We appreciate cancellations if at all possible before 8am the day of the appointment. Sickness includes, but is not limited to fever, coughing, and/or difficulty breathing.
In many cases therapy can be delivered by tele-practice. If you’re interested in this option, please discuss it with your therapist.
Thank you for working together with us to keep everyone safe.
