Back to school can bring about a lot of emotions. And not just for kids, but teens, parents, and post-secondary students feel the back to school jitters, fears, and difficult transitions.
For kids, it may feel like stepping into the unknown or returning back to spaces that feel unsupportive.
For parents and caregivers, it can mean juggling new routines, worries, and wanting everything to go “just right.”
For post-secondary students, you could be navigating a big new transition, or starting a new semester with internal and/or external pressure to succeed, adjusting to independence, and balancing academics, work, and personal life with various levels of support.
If this season feels overwhelming, whether it’s anxiety, stress, or simply the need for extra support, you don’t have to navigate it alone - we are here to help. Whether you are 4 or 54, together we can build strategies, ease transitions, cultivate self-compassion, and connect with your inner advocate to navigate through the school year.
At Thrive, we hope to create spaces for children, teens, young adults, and families to thrive this school year.
