Love this 👏🏻!
I think what gets me isn’t even the word anymore.
It’s the weight people put on it.
Like being “fat” is supposed to cancel everything else out about a person. Their character. Their life. Their heart. Their impact.
I just don’t see it that way.
My body might carry fat.
Cool. That’s one detail.
But that’s not my identity.
My identity is how I show up for my life every day.
How I love.
How I care.
How I keep going, even when it’s hard.
How I’m building something for myself and actually living my life.
There are so many worse things a person could be.
And somehow, this is the one people cling to?
If all you see when you look at someone is their body…
you’re missing everything that actually matters.
