We have been living it up this summer with our bus! We took another trip to the lovely Shady Pines Campground and we took a journey to the African Lion Safari! Nothing better than nature and wildlife on a nice sunny day!

On Main Street of our Long-Term Care Home, the energy was electric for our Village Race. Residents and their partners including some of our amazing Volunteers/Students were gathered at the starting line, ready for this adventure. What a great day, congratulations to every team on finishing and earning their freezes. Congratulations also goes to our top three Residents racers and their partners, 1st Place Carol G, 2nd Place Vivian S, 3rd Place Ron A! Thanks to everyone who helped out and participated!

Summertime in Sparta! Who wouldn't love an afternoon at the Sparta Lavendar Farm? We were lucky to have a tour of the lavender parterre, herb, butterfly and wildflower gardens by the lovely Karen. 🪻

Throwing it back to Thursday last week, it was a sunny day well spent at Sunfest! Our long-term care residents soaked in the vibrant sights, sounds, and flavors of this amazing summer festival. From cultural music to delicious food—and a perfect shady spot to relax—it was truly a day to remember. Always something we look forward to each year! 🌞

Thank you again to everyone who came out on Friday evening to celebrate at our Team Appreciation event. We raised over $1340.00 in ticket sales and then another $600 in 50/50 money, all to go to The Canadian Mental Health Association!

Your dedication to going above and beyond for our residents every day does not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for the compassionate care you provide. A heartfelt thank you to the teams who couldn’t be with us today because you were back at the Village, continuing your incredible work!

Emma's neighborhood has been thoroughly enjoying their time on the patio—caring for the plants and keeping everything in perfect condition. We hope their green thumbs continue to brighten up the neighbourhood!🌿🌷

June was a fantastic Seniors Month here at the Village!
From a heartwarming prom and a special Father’s Day, to the first of our summer BBQ's and the sweet moments of our Strawberry Social. Including all the day to day happenings here! We’ve had a month full of joy, laughter, and community.

Our seniors continue to show us that fun has no age limit, and every day holds something to celebrate. Here's to making even more memories in July! ☀️

Summer begins with laughter, love, and the warmth of community! We have had an amazing June with tons of memories made! Here are a few we have captured!

It was Lights, camera, action—our stars (Residents) shine brighter than ever! Our Long Term Care Residents enjoyed a Hollywood Prom, including our Hollywood Walk of Fame, in one photo, if you look close, you will see the team with Ron Schlegel's star⭐️! We had Shelly Rastin and her band performing for us, dancing, wine, punch, popcorn and some yummy pastries!

Flappers, feathers, and timeless flair—our residents do the '20s right! Our Retirement Residents enjoyed a Great Gatsby and Roaring 20s prom, with lots of fancy outfits! We had music by Scott Bollert, dancing, champagne, whiskey, macarons and mini cheesecakes!

Our Village was hopping and a lot of fun was had by all! 💃🕺
