Twenty years ago, a bright and articulate high school student started working for me at Coulter's Pharmacy and Home Health Care. Her grandfather was one of my delivery drivers and we needed extra help for the summer. While pharmacy wasn't her career plan at the time, she continued working for me when she could while completing her post-secondary education.

As each year went by Kylee Oxby kept learning and doing more at the pharmacy with a strong will and focus on the patient/customer. Lucky for me her original career path didn't work out as expected and with my support and encouragement she went back to school to become a Pharmacy Technician registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.

Today, Kylee is our Dispensary Manager, capable of handling all aspects of our medication preparation, dispensary staffing and patient management regarding product provision. Our operation and team continue to thrive because of her contribution and leadership.

This photo, from many years ago, has some people who are no longer on my team but I am very proud to say that almost half are still contributing to the success of my family business today.

Congratulations and thank you Kylee for making a difference! We would not have gotten where we are today without your dedication and commitment to care.
