Happy International Dance Day 💃✨
We are deep in spring competition season over here—and watching Alexandra dance, perform, and do circus is honestly the best. The strength, flexibility, and dedication these kids have is incredible… but so are the physical demands that come with it.
One thing I’ve learned is that dancers often push through pain from a really young age—long training hours, repetitive movements, and very little true recovery.
Sound familiar? 🙃
That’s why taking care of their bodies early matters.
Alexandra actually asks to get adjusted—and I love that she’s learning that staying strong, mobile, and balanced is just as important as practice and performance.
Chiropractic care isn’t just about pain relief—it’s about helping the body move well, recover better, and keep doing what you love.
For her, it’s become part of her routine:

With the nicer weather here, it’s time for gardening, yard work, and getting back into sports — but jumping in too quickly can lead to aches and injuries.

Here are a few simple tips to keep you feeling your best all season long:

🌱 Warm up first – even light stretching can make a big difference

🏃 Ease back in – don’t try to do everything in one day

🧍‍♂️ Switch up your position – avoid staying bent over for too long (your back will thank you!)

💪 Listen to your body – soreness is okay, pain is your cue to slow down

Tinnitus 👂(ringing in the ears) can be incredibly frustrating — and often, people don’t realize the neck may play a role.

The upper cervical spine (your neck) is closely connected to the nerves and muscles that influence the ears. When this area isn’t functioning well, it can lead to increased joint irritation, muscle tension, and stress on the surrounding nervous system.

When the cervical spine is moving properly:
• Joint inflammation can decrease
• Muscles around the upper neck can relax
• Pressure and irritation on nearby nerves may be reduced

And because those nerves help supply the ears, calming this area can sometimes lead to improvements in tinnitus symptoms.

Now — is chiropractic a “cure” for tinnitus? No.

But in practice, we do see many patients experience noticeable improvements when we address dysfunction in the neck.

Every case is different, but it’s always worth looking at the body as a whole — especially when symptoms aren’t improving with traditional approaches.

✨If you’ve been struggling with tinnitus, the answer may not just be in the ears… it could be in the neck.
