Learn more about Ashley
Ashley Scott grew up playing any sport she could. She excelled specifically in curling, but enjoyed soccer, and running as well! Now as a graduate from York University’s Kinesiology and Health Science program and Athletic Therapy Certificate program, she pairs that evidenced-based educational background with her personal experience in every appointment. Ashley utilizes soft-tissue release, joint mobilization and exercise prescription to create a person-centered environment, to meet the needs and goals of every individual through every appointment.
Ashley has experience working with a spectrum of patients, from weekend warriors, to varsity athletes, to youth elite athletes. She has experience working clinically and on the field in many sports, such as volleyball, baseball, lacrosse, hockey, and football. Ashley has experienced all common injuries associated with sport, from musculoskeletal to concussions both in field-of-play management, to clinical management and return to activity. Ashley holds a First Responder certification in order to provide emergency care, alongside any musculoskeletal injury care on the field of play!
When not in the clinic, Ashley can be found staying active in any way she can – running, curling, biking, spending time with her family and two dogs or crocheting!
