For over a century, VON has worked to make sure that individuals in need of care can remain in the comfort of their own homes and communities.

Today, our Community Support Services (CSS) make it easier for clients to stay socially active and connected in our community. Through these services, we provide invaluable support to clients, family caregivers and promote mental health and well-being for all.

Meet Jasmin! She is a volunteer in the London program helping with Telephone Reassurance & Friendly Visiting since July 2025.

Committing a few hours a week she is able to provide a safety and security touch point over 45 times to seniors in the London community as well as connecting with her visiting match. 💙

VON Meals on Wheels program is committed to promoting independence by delivering hot, affordable meals to individuals 55 and older as well as adults with disabilities. Meals can be tailored to individual needs including low sodium, diabetic and vegetarian, with options for both short and long-term delivery.

Hot meals are delivered on weekdays from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM excluding holidays. Clients can choose to receive meals daily or on specific days.

We’re currently have opening on certain days on some of our routes for Dorchester, Belmont and Thorndale area.
