Healing Souls is a free structured grief support group offered by VON Elgin! Healing Souls offers confidential, volunteer-led peer support for grieving adults in Elgin County. In Healing Souls, you will explore topics such as: your grief experiences, life after loss, guilt and regret, looking to the future, legacy and memorial work and grief during the holidays.
Healing Souls runs on Friday mornings, from 9:30 to 11:30am. This 9-week program begins on October 17th and runs every week until December 12th. Healing Souls runs out of the VON Elgin office, which can be found at 175 South Edgeware Road in St Thomas.

The VON Middlesex Alzheimer's Community Support Program is pleased to announce "Christmas Ornament Paint Day." This special event will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4th and hosted by the wonderful Kim from Clayroom.

Both caregivers and care recipients will have the opportunity to create lasting memories by painting two ceramic Christmas ornaments—one to keep and one to exchange with their loved ones.

Participation requires registration with a VON service and pre-registration for the event. Donations to assist with covering associated costs are warmly welcomed.

Teen Circle is a free structured grief support group offered by VON Elgin! Teen Circle offers confidential, volunteer-led peer support for grieving teenagers, from ages 13 to 17 in Elgin County. Teen Circle offers: creative outlets to explore and express grief, emotional support, a space to share and build companionship with peers and a framework through which to explore meaning-making and grief-work.
Teen Circle runs on Tuesday evenings, from 4:00 to 6:00pm. This 9-week program begins on October 14th and runs until December 9th. Teen Circle runs out of the VON Elgin office, which can be found at 175 South Edgeware Road in St Thomas.
