This patient needed to have this large milia near his eye removed. It had been bothering him for a while and if you look closely, you can see that the pressure from the size of it had started to break blood vessels within the milia!

Thankfully, I was able to remove it manually but most cases require electrocautery.

Since 2011, we have pre-programmed electrocautery modalities for:
• Telangiectasia (broken blood vessels)
• Blotchiness (superficial telangiectasia)
• Stellar Angioma
• Flat Ruby Points
• Raised Ruby Points
• Flat Skin Tags
• Skin Tags with Stem
• Milia
• Cholesterol Deposits

The aftercare recommended is Polysporin 2-3 x a day until the area has healed ( usually 1-2 weeks) depending on each individual.

Contradictions for electrocautery are: pregnancy and metal implants.
